Andrea Del Valle P’29, ’33 began her career as the Director of Education at the Brooklyn Historical Society. Her teaching ethos stems from a commitment to anti-racist education and to creating spaces in which students are empowered to have agency in their education and lives at our school. Andrea earned a bachelor’s in history and English from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and her master’s in history from the University of Virginia. Currently a Middle and Upper School history teacher, Andrea joined Poly Prep in 2013 and has also taught Grades 1, 2, and 3 during her tenure. In 2023, she was named Dean of Faculty.
